Return Policy:

At XL Kites, we strive to offer the best value, the best quality and the best selection of products. If you are not 100% satisfied for any reason, we offer the choice of a return for in-store credit, an exchange for a different size/color etc., or a refund. Note: We will charge 10% restocking fee for refunds. To initiate a return for in-store credit, exchange or a refund, please include a copy of your receipt, along with the product, and mail (or personally deliver, whichever is most convenient for you) to XL Kites at the address below. Items may only be returned for in-store credit, exchanged or refunded within 30 days from the date of purchase. XL Kites does retain the right to reject used items within this time period based on the item's condition upon return.

To return or exchange an item, or to receive a refund:

1. Please include the receipt you received with your purchase and indicate the reason for each returned item. Additionally, specify if you would like an exchange, in-store credit, or a refund.

2. Package the item securely. XL Kites reserves the right to reject claims on items that have been damaged as a result of inadequate packaging. XL Kites will not reimburse shipping fees for returned items.

4. At the customers discretion, we will issue an in-store credit for the cost of the item, or an exchange of equal value, or a refund. Shipping charges are not refundable, but the cost of shipping new/replacement items from XL Kites will be covered by XL Kites. .

Problems With Your Order

I  Didn't Receive All Of My Items - Simply call XL Kites to discuss. NOTE: If XL Kites ships multi-item orders in separate packages, the customer will not incur multiple shipping charges. The receipt included with your original order indicates which items shipped and will indicate a single amount. Please call or email us if you have additional questions.

My Order Didn't Arrive - Orders shipped via the U.S. Postal Service, FedEx or UPS can be tracked by the tracking number provided with your sales receipt. Orders shipped through United States Postal Service may take up to ten business days to arrive. Contact XL Kites is you have additional questions.

An Item Is Damaged or Defective - Your satisfaction is our number one priority! If an item does not meet your expectations, simply return it to us according to the guidelines set forth previously in this document.

Returns and Exchanges Originating Outside the 48 Contiguous States 

Returns and exchanges from international locations will occur in the same manner as those originating from within the 48 contiguous states. See our shipping policy page for further information related to shipping.

All orders of $99 and more, will receive free shipping, if the destination is within the continental United States. All overseas locations, to include Canada, Alaska and Hawaii, will incur a shipping charge of up to $50, included in the sale price. XL Kites will pay the remaining balance, if shipping costs exceed $50. If the shipping cost is less than $50, we will only charge the actual amount.

Shipping times from XL Kites will vary, depending on the proximity of the customer. However, most locations within the continental U.S. will receive orders within 3-5 business days, and often sooner.  

NOTE: Free shipping does not apply to items on closeout pricing. In these cases, normal shipping rates will apply.
