Kiteboarding Weather in the USA
The weather along the gulf coast from Tampa Bay, Florida to Houston, Texas is generally light in the summer months (May-July) and very windy in the spring, fall, and winter months. The best time to visit this area is the spring or fall season when the water starts to warm although in the winter months the water will maintain a temperature of low 60s and high 50s.
The weather along the southern Texas coast including Corpus Christi and South Padre Island has consistantly good kiteboarding winds all year round and stays warm enough for a spring suit in the winter. The best time to visit these areas is in the winter or summer as they are the warmest in the winter and the best wind in the summer.
